New Zealand on the Web Limited

NZ.com (or www.NZ.com) is a web site dedicated to providing resources for and about New Zealand on the Internet. A group of expatriate New Zealanders living overseas developed this site, at the same time the World Wide Web was being developed. NZ.com was officially "put up" in May 1995.

NZ.com was the first Internet brand established for New Zealand. The NZ.com web site has been very successful with a huge number of sites linking to it. The over 15,000 sites that link to NZ.com can be compared with www.tradenz.govt.nz's 1,200, www.purenz.com's 1,800 and www.nzway.co.nz's less than 300.

NZ.com generates significant traffic with over 30,000 unique visitors to the site per month. Fourteen gigabytes of information are transferred from the site monthly.

New Zealand on the Web Limited is a joint venture company between Unify Limited and Lightyear Limited.
